MISSION and VISION STATEMENTS
L.E.A.P. Arizona is a non-profit, public charity dedicated to education and awareness of Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections in Arizona and across the United States.
L.E.A.P. Arizona grew from a desire to help children and adults suffering with these debilitating infections and is dedicated to providing financial assistance to children and adults in Arizona and nationwide. Our goal is to alleviate some of the suffering associated with these infections by providing financial assistance, so that patients may obtain desperately-needed treatment of their choice and necessities of life.
L.E.A.P. Arizona is active in providing research and treatment information to government agencies, the medical community, laboratories, insurance companies and the public. Our goal is to enable these entities to broaden their views by studying this information regarding diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease and co-infections.
Our vision is to bring about a positive change to provide a patient-friendly treatment environment where patients’ symptoms are acknowledged as valid and not imagined, and where patients are allowed to work as team members with their healthcare providers in their diagnoses and treatment.
