IMPORTANCE OF EPA/DHA Omega 3 Fish Oils for Lyme Patients

There have been over 2000 scientific studies documenting the importance of supplementation with EPA/DHA Omega 3 fish oils for the maintenance of health and the prevention of disease.

Our present environment and lifestyles are making it more challenging than ever to create a body of health and wellness.  One component of our cells require to function in self sufficiency.  It's not easy maintaining a healthy body for the average person let alone someone afflicted with Lyme.  The challenges this potentially debilitating illness presents requires a comprehensive health action plan.  Health in terms of cell function requires two things, purity and sufficiency.  With these two items present homeostasis and therefore health can be more easily achieved.  The opposite, impurity and deficiency, lead to a lack of health and consequently, sickness.  One such deficiency involves EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids.  Our bodies cannot make EPA/DHA Omega 3 acids so they must be consumed in our diets.  However, conclusive scientific evidence indicates the American diet is dangerously deficient in these essential fatty acids.  The foods we eat today do not contain even close to the sufficient amount of EPA and DHA.

Traditionally we consumed sufficient amounts of EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids by eating wild game meat and wild fish.  These essential fatty acids are not found in grain fed domesticated animals like turkey, chickens, pigs and cows.  Nor do farm raised fish contain sufficient amounts.  Although wild fish does contain sufficient amounts of EPA and DHA, essentially all sources are now toxic with mercury and other pollutants that they are no longer safe to consume sufficient amounts.

Vegetable sources of Omega 3 fatty acids like flax seed do not contain EPA or DHA.  In addition, research indicates that vegetable sources cannot be converted to EPA and DHA within the body in sufficient amounts.  Genetically, our bodies are designed to consume EPA and DHA directly, not to convert them from vegetable sources.  Supplementation with fish oils is the only safe way to consume adequate amounts of EPA and DHA.

A diet sufficient in EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids is essential for the proper function of every cell, tissue, organ and gland in the brain and body and because these oils are the main component of the brain neurons and all cell membranes.  In fact there have been over 2000 scientific studies documenting the importance of supplementation and EPA and DHA Omega 3 fish oil for maintenance of health and the prevention of disease.  These factors are all the more important in individuals faced with the Lyme microbe Borrelia Burgdorferi, which in advanced cases causes nervous system and joint damage.  It is absolutely necessary to consume a pure, pristine and toxin free source of EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids for health, vitality and quality of life.

FACT: We are genetically designed to consume EPA and DHA directly, not to convert them from vegetable sources.

FACT: The only way to safely consume adequate amounts of EPA/DHA is through supplementation with fish oil.

FACT: EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids are so important because they are the main component of the brain neurons and all cell membranes.  This is why DHA is the main component of health in human breast milk.
