L.E.A.P. Arizona is now regularly invited to host
a kiosk at a couple of the Arizona Diamondbacks' home games each season. The Diamondbacks
provide a free kiosk for us, announce that Lyme Education Awareness Program
is their featured charity organization for that game, and show our
name on the matrix board. The D'Backs provide free raffle tickets
for us to
award a lucky winner with an
autographed photo of a Diamondbacks team player.
We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the D'Backs' Community Corner Program. This opportunity has enabled L.E.A.P. to pass out educational information and spread awareness of tick-borne infections. We have met many wonderful people who have visited our exhibit. Some are interested in information and others have had experience with Lyme disease themselves or with a family member.
