About the Artist
Mesa, Arizona is home to the studio of artist Nawanna Rodgers-Gazin. Nawanna's home state is Illinois, where for fifteen and one-half years she headed the Department of Graphic Design at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine. She has had numerous art showings throughout Illinois and was honored to receive many Graphic and Fine Art Awards.
Nawanna moved to Mesa, Arizona in 1986 and was inspired by the culture of the Southwest. As you will see while viewing this sample of greeting cards, her love for the Southwest is evident in many of her designs.
Mesa is home to her studio, Cactus Kids Crafts. This is where Nawanna creates original hand-painted cards, cards with reprints of original paintings, hand-painted tote bags and tote bags with transfers of original paintings and drawings.
L.E.A.P. is grateful for Nawanna's service on its Board of Directors. We are also grateful that Nawanna is donating the proceeds from her cards to our charity to help Lyme disease patients.
