LYME PRAYER

Heavenly Father,
please grant me the knowledge and understanding
that my affliction can polish my rough edges
and assist me with refinement and growth.

Heavenly Father,
please grant me the strength to endure
persecution, suffering, rejection and aloneness,
so I may have a better understanding
of another's pain and suffering.

Heavenly Father,
please grant me the realization,
that despite the illness that ravages my body,
I have the ability to protect and preserve my Spirit.

Heavenly Father,
please grant me the realization
that I still have the potential to accomplish
thy will in my life and in the lives of others,
to encourage, uplift and share
the goodness within me,
which I inherited from thee.
