MY STORY

Our story starts about 10 years ago with a simple tick bite to my husbands side. He had many tick bites before, but this one had developed the infamous rash and so he went to the doctor and they put him on 10 days tetracycline. The rash went away without incident. Many times in the years after that we were bitten many times in different states, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and California. We were always outdoors hiking around. We really never gave it another thought.

Little by little my husbands health had started to decline, he was having various internal problems, such as kidney pain, gall bladder pain, stomach problems. He was also starting to get severe arthritis and he seemed to always be having low grade fevers. He is a veteran and was at the VA all the time getting tested to see why he was having all this pain.

In the mean time I was starting to have major allergies, breathing difficulties, and chronic infections of every kind, bladder, yeast, bronchitis, pneumonia, you name it I was getting it. I would only be well for 2 weeks and cycle right back into being sick again. Of course I was living on antibiotics. I did not know it then, but I was loaded with Candida. This was after living 40 years without EVER being sick.

By the time I was 45, the year 2000, my energy was gone, I had muscle weakness, brain fog, my eysite was really blurry, extremely cold hands and feet, and also numbness in hands, my hair was falling out, I had a low body temp, 97degrees most days, I had gained weight for the first time in my life (10lbs) I had irregular heart beat, sleep apnea, lots of digestions problems, my monthly cycle was horrible and so were my moods, and the lists just goes on an on. I had been tested for heart problems, lung problems, had various blood tests. I was perfectly healthy they said, except I could not even walk up 3 steps without stopping to rest and having pain in my legs. I was offered Zoloft for my obvious depression. I never took it.

My husbands health had rapidly declined and since the doctors could not find anything wrong they started thinking he was just looking for drugs! He did not want drugs and after a back surgery he had, the pain killers had completely ruined his liver, so this was not something that he was interested in. But if doctors cannot find things wrong with your body then they think it must be in your mind. The year 2000 my husband truly thought it would be his last here on this earth. He told all his close friends he had a few months to live, most days he did not get out of bed he was so sick.

I am not sure what finally was the breaking point for us, but I knew there was something we had to do to regain control of our life and health, and the doctors were not going to be part of it. I had no health insurance and the last visit to the doctor he was talking about MRI's and MS and I guess that is what made me run the other direction. They had already prescribed me steroids, which I would not take and I figured what is the point of going back time and time again if you are not going to do what they say. My husband was having the same opinion of the VA hospital since the last time he had gone in there with severe kidney pain they told him he was a drug addict because his liver enzymes were so bad!! What a joke, my husband is far from a drug addict. So we left the allopathic route and went alternative and have never gone back.

The Healing begins:
The first thing we did was do a full body cleanse. We cleansed the bowels and the liver with some different herbs and things. It was not a fun process but afterwards we were feeling better. We then started taking various different supplements from many sources. I was able to rid myself of the allergies and breathing difficulties, I had more energy, but others symptoms marched on, like the lack of memory, blurry vision, I was tripping alot. My husband was walking with a cane by this time and his mental attitude was really bad, he was getting almost unbearable to live with. (It was not me I swear!) He has always been extremely active and worked alot, and his ability to do so was very limited. Life was not alot of fun at this point and we were not looking forward to the future.

Then around 2 years ago while searching online for remedies for a sick cat I had, I ended up stumbling onto a site about GLycontrients. The person contacted me and explained all the science behind these nutrients and I had done enough research by this point to know it sounded like something I had never tried, and also like something that made alot of sense! I started them immediately for myself as husband was skeptical because, by that time we had taken a ton of stuff and nothing had really made much difference.

I had ordered GLyconutrients, Phytonutrients, Phytosterols, ANtioxidants, diegestive aids. I really did not expect to fell any different but I had committed to the fact that my body needed something and perhaps this might finally be that something. Almost immediately I had more energy which was really welcomed. I own a horse ranch which required alot of my time, and it had gotten so hard to do my job, that mostly I had hired people to do everything, putting a hole in our finances. By the time winter came (4 months) I realized I had not had an infection and this was amazing because I always had infections, especially in winter. After 7 months I was feeling better then I had in a long time and so finally my husband got started too. He took basically the same things with some added cardio support. By July of that year we went to Nebraska to visit family and my husband was able to hike in the hills with his 80 year old father just like he always had done before. He was not zipping around or anything, but he was walking good.

At 8 months is when I had regained my brain back, vision started to get better and the majority of the things on my list of symptoms were gone. By 12 and 13 months I was feeling like 40 again and was just getting my strength back since I had not done much for years. My husband saw steady improvement from March through November and then after deciding it was time to change his diet he really started to feel better. He lost 30 lbs eating low glycemeic foods, he had gained 100lbs during his illness.

We now eat all organic foods, we eat no sugar, very limited sprouted grains, organic and raw dairy, we make sure all the food we get has no hormones, antibiotics, preservatives or other harmful things. We have just tried to get things back to the basic with as little processing as possible. We drink Reverse osmosis water, get lots of rest and exercise.

Today 2 years after starting the GLyconutrients for me and 1 year 3 months for my husband, we are both feeling great. We have no symptoms of any illness, blood pressure is normal, thyroid is normal, cholesterol is now normal. We almost can't believe it ourselves that we could feel this good. I will celebrate my 50th birthday soon, and I remember thinking 2 years ago how would I ever make it to 50. My husband works 12 hour days as a tractor contractor and walks all over the place completely normal. I figured by this time I would have been pushing him in a wheelchair and I would have been drooling and not knowing my name!!

It is only through a close friends diagnosis with Lyme that my husband and I were finally able to identify what had plagued us for all those years. I had started to research for her benefit the many treatments and things available. I was convinced already my husband had this disease, but after learning every thing I have, I am now convinced I had it too. I know the doctors were heading in the direction of MS for my diagnosis, but in my opinion, MS is really lyme without a correct diagnosis.

I encourage all of you to consider what your body needs in order to heal from what ever you might have, and give it the raw materials so it can correct, repair, and restore your health better then any doctor ever could.

Be well, and God Bless. Mike and Gina
