Dear Tina...

This story is like reading your life story.....seeing it in print is absolutely agonizing for me, your mother, who has watched you change from a sharp, vibrant, hard-working gal into an individual who struggles, daily, with severe cognitive problems, aching joints that require rest and deprive you of your drive and ambition, and make STRESS the frosting on your PAIN CAKE!  Stress from dealing with doctors and Agencies who are deliberately masking the diagnosis of Lyme disease in order to avoid helping people pay for long-term antobiotic treatment! Not being a believer in help from any source, and being in the advanced age bracket, I can more readily accept all of the pitfalls of Life. However, seeing someone I love being snuffed out is the hardest pitfall I've ever encountered.  Helping others with Lyme, as you are doing, makes me one VERY PROUD MOTHER!
